About Eatery Rolls-out Their Fresh Pasta Station & “Fasta Pasta” Challenge | Bangkok Foodies
Chef Gabriele, Head Chef of About Eatery hails from Potenza, a little town in southern Italy. At the tender age of 6, Gabriele he first learned how to create pasta, taught by his Grandmother, Angela who made pasta for a living.
Chef Gabriele reminisces, “I got fast because I helped my grandma who sold pasta, usually making a lot, and she was very fast and I didn’t like when she had to wait for me because I’m too slow. Then I improve year by year with my speed and precision. I remember one time I helped her to make pasta for a wedding for 300 people, was a great and tiring experience.”
Chef Gabriele of About Eatery has now perfected his skill, speed and agility since he was a child in Italy. Now guests can witness Chef Gabriele Tozzo Luna work his pasta-making magic at the ABOUT PASTA corner at About Eatery. Hungry diners can choose from 10 different fresh pasta on the special fresh pasta menu which the Chef will make fresh to order right in front of you!
Chef Gabriele will also challenge 2-3 guests at random everyday during the promotion to make faster pasta than him, for the “FASTA PASTA” competition to win a Giro d’Italia Set. You are also welcome to nominate yourself for the challenge.
