The much anticipated Belga Rooftop Bar & Brasserie on the 32nd floor at Sofitel Sukhumvit held its grand opening on the 21st February. Belga promises to bring to Bangkok a classic yet contemporary Belgian Brasserie experience with dishes like Moules Frites (mussels and fries) and Liège Waffle, headed by French Head Chef Nicolas Bass. You can check out the Chef’s favourites here.

Previously known as L’appart, a fine dining French dining concept decked-out much like a cosy French loft apartment has been converted to a casual and jovial dining space with a mix of dark wood finishes and vintage tapestries. It’s now a space that can cater to close to 200 peeps, with plenty of intimate corners and spaces to indulge. What hasn’t changed? The exciting open kitchen and that stunning mid-Sukhumvit cityscape!

On the beverage side of things, a Belgian Brasserie would not be complete without Belgium Beer and Belga has 40 of them, including iconic bottle and draught labels such as Duvel, La Chouffe, Vedett, Triple Karmeliet and Kasteel in addition to a plentiful wine and cocktail selection.
