Il Fumo is the latest collaboration between husband-and-wife team of restaurateur Choti & Debby Leenutaphong (Vesper Cocktail Bar & Restaurant) and Chef Luca Appino (La Bottega di Luca, Pizza Massilia). We serve wood charcoal grill Italian cuisine with emphasis to carefully-sourced ingredients from all over Europe including Rubia Gallega beef from Galicia, red prawns from Sicily and Mora Romagnol…a pork from Emilia.
At the helm of the kitchen is Head Chef Nelson Amorim who previously worked at Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong (the only 3 Michelin-starred Italian restaurant outside of Italy) and Macau (1 Michelin star), among other.
At the bar, our award-winning bartenders – from the same team as Vesper (No. 17 in ASIA’S 50 BEST BARS and No. 1 in Thailand) – present you with long-forgotten cocktails from long-lost classics, albeit with our twists.
