Bangkok Foodies jetted off to Koh Samui for an overnight trip to uncover the delights of the SAMUI SAVOR campaign. During the trip, we had the pleasure of dining at two Michelin Bib Gourmand-rated restaurants, each offering a unique taste of the island’s culinary scene.

SAMUI SAVOR (1)

At Kapi Sator, we savoured a Southern Thai menu with signatures such as the ubiquitous southern stink bean with shrimp paste in a modern-cafe vibe, then to Ban Suan Lung Khai, a hidden gem nestled in a coconut grove, to enjoy sumptuous grilled and fried seafood fare designed for feasting. Importantly, we couldn’t go home without a trip to Khao Hom Restaurant, a local favourite known for its homestyle family recipe dishes and rustic outdoor setting.

Another notable and surprising experience was at Trade Winds at Celes Samui, where Chef Kasidad “Doll”, an Iron Chef Thailand competitor, created a fine-fusion menu of French, Thai, and a touch of Japanese.
