The Lady in Red – Limited Edition Afternoon Tea at the Hanuman Bar
This year yet again, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is celebrating the birthday of the iconic Lady in Red – this time, the 12th birthday – with a limited-edition afternoon tea inspired by the Ladies in Red’s passion for craftsmanship, gastronomy and local culture. Executive Pastry Chef Franck Istel and his talented culinary experts have carefully crafted 12 unique sweet and savoury items in beautiful shades of red to suit the portrayal, such as the popular Lady in Red shoe with an assortment of chocolates; the Lady in Red macaron lychee raspberry; a pistachio diamond cookie with strawberry Chantilly; and more. The savoury items include an exciting relish of foie gras and purple fig hors d’oeuvre; tomato
shortbread with burrata cream; a prawn cocktail tartlet; and more. Of course, the afternoon tea classic vanilla, raspberry and blueberry scones is served with strawberry jam, orange curd and Devonshire clotted cream and cannot be missed.
The ‘Lady in Red Limited Edition Afternoon Tea’ is served daily until 31 March 2022 from 14:00 to 17:00 hrs at the lobby lounge and Hanuman Bar, located on the ground floor of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, and priced at THB 990++ per set, paired with a choice of Ronnefeldt tea or divine coffee; and THB 1,490++ per set with a selection of Ronnefeldt tea or divine coffee and a Lady in Red teddy bear to take home as a keepsake. The price is subject to a 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
The ‘Lady in Red – Limited Edition Afternoon Tea Takeaway Set’ is also available at THB 1,250+ per set paired with two servings of Ronnefeldt tea with 24-hour advance orders. An additional delivery fee is applied per destination and drop-off point within Bangkok.
The Lady in Red shoe and teddy bear are included in the dine-in set only. The price is subject to a 7% government tax.
