Spanish wine brand Mucho Más debuted their red and white for the first time in Thailand on Nov. 4 at the Mucho Mas Dinner at Baan Prapa. Mucho Mas Tinto and Mucho Mas Bianco are approachable, fruit-forward wines imported by Wine & Spirit Thailand, and went surprisingly well with Baan Prapa’s spicy Southern Thai flavors.

Mucho Más Blanco is a blend of Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. It’s bright, straw-coloured, with peach, apricot, citrus and a touch of smokiness. 

Mucho Más Tinto, a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache, Syrah, is cherry-red, medium-bodied, aromatic with ripe black fruit, scrubland herbs, balsamic, leather and vanilla. Broad, lively, with cocoa and mineral notes on the finish.

Both wines are designed to be easy-drinking, expressive, and food-friendly, making them an interesting match for the deep, spice-driven character of Southern Thai cuisine.

Standout Dishes from Baan Prapa:

  • Crab Curry Noodles (Mee Nam Ya Poo): rich, unapologetically spicy, aromatic and deeply satisfying; the Mucho Mas Blanco lifted the curry with freshness and tropical notes.
  • Crispy Pak Liang Salad with Fresh Shrimp: crunchy, bright, and lightly spicy; a playful contrast with the Mucho Mas Blanco.
  • 60-Second Seared Beef: tender, lightly charred, and flavour-packed; paired especially well with the Tinto’s ripe berry profile.

Baan Prapa’s Southern menu is already known for its intensity and character, but the Mucho Mas pairings added a fun, international twist, keeping things balanced, and the night full of tropical zesty flair. 

It was a warm, intimate evening with great food, friendly hospitality, and wines that made the experience feel fresh and accessible for all levels of wine lovers.
