When I found out we were going to the Oasis spa I didn’t think it was literally like an Oasis!

Tucked away in Sukhumvit soi 31 is this beautiful grassy plot of land with a pond and a grand white house which sits beside it.

Inside the Oasis spa you are served deliciously hot herbal tea by lovely ladies in Traditional Thai garb while you’re being hit ( or more like caressed ) by the awesome smell of exotic essential oils, which are lovingly packed and ready for sale in their waiting room.

After a short wait, we were escorted to our private rooms which were more like a private eco resort. Besides the two massage beds, was a great big comfy sofa, and in the next room, a white clay tub, a mini sauna and an outdoor ( enclosed ) shower. I imagine for couples on a getaway retreat or honeymoon to be suited right here.

I typically like my massage hard, but often it’s hard but clumsy or they miss the most vital spots. In this case, we had two tiny ladies each, but with enormous power in their fingers, but still with the accuracy and care of a surgeon. Likely the best massage I’ve had in my life!

The only one small comment would be to change the weird Chinese sounding music which wasn’t particularly suitable but that’s just nitpicking. Now, the price is not cheap, rates can go from a pricey little treat to a total splurge! Massages range from 1,700 THB up to 7,000 THB and up. So for anyone looking for the ultimate indulgent in spa and massage where expenditure is not an issue, I highly recommend the Oasis Spa Bangkok. It’s simply the ultimate city escape getaway for rest and relaxation.
