Craving delectable cakes and desserts? Want to indulge in moreish scones and sticky, sweet jam? Perhaps you fancy the delicious taste of a homemade Shepherd’s Pie?
All of these questions have you feeling hungry? The High Tea Buffet starts this afternoon at 2pm at Les Diables in the Boat Lagoon.
Served every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm until 6pm, the High Tea Buffet is great value for the money and it is worth every single baht you spend to sample Peter Webber’s scrumptious creations in his outstanding restaurant that produces perfection each and every time.
Divided into savories and sweets, the High Tea Buffet includes an adorable buffet spread as well as table service. Diners will be spoil for choice as the menu includes classic favorites such as:
- Pork Pie with Pickled Onions and Chutneys
- Mini Croque Madame
- Quiche Lorraine
- Traditional Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Open Sandwich
- Mini Shepherd’s Pie Pots
In addition, there is an outstanding Thai twist on high tea served in the form of a Larb Chicken Roll with Plum Sauce for dipping. Fresh and tangy, the Larb Chicken Roll adds a bit of spicy zest to the buffet assortments.
The desserts available are out of this world, and once again, Peter and his team go above and beyond in serving the most delicious cakes and sweets. The Chocolate Eclairs are to die for while the Lemon Meringue Pie and Red Velvet Cupcakes are some of the best I’ve ever had.
Honestly, if you are looking for an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon, head over to the High Tea Buffet. The food is spectacular, the atmosphere is great and today the weather is nice which means that you can sit outside on the boardwalk and admire all of those sleek yachts.
High Tea Buffet:
- 500THB per person with tea, coffee or hot chocolate
- 895THB with half a bottle of house wine
- 4000THB for two persons with a bottle of Champagne Piper Heidsieck
