France’s first Wine Theme Park- La Cité du Vin

This is not about it has a famous wine-growing region or the famous Eiffel tower but about France granting the wishes of those who desperately seeking to celebrate the joy of wine by opening the Wine Theme Park!

La Cité du Vin (City of Wine) in Quai de Bacalan, Bordeaux is 10 stories high and boasts 20 themed areas and exhibits, plus a 250-seat auditorium for screenings and classes.

Its architecture has been designed base on the motion of the wine swirling around the glass. It also has a Museum which will take you on a tour through the wine’s rich history and culture.It will also offer tasting session, wine workshops and educational wine-theme session. There is also a boat ride which mimics the wine merchant’s journey around the world.

So basically it will offer most of the things that wine lovers are hoping for, well, the only down side is it doesn’t offer rides like roller coaster and fairy floss but nobody want’s to clean the aftermath of that when copious amounts of wine is added.

TICKETS COSTS are £15 for ADULT and £6 for KIDS.
There will be yearly session unlimited trips ticket for those who want to visit there every month.
