Art and Fine Dining For a Great Cause This September 24th and 25th
For two days only on September 24th and 25th, guests will experience an exclusive art and fine dining lunch in collaboration with Amy Diener, a Bangkok-based artist from New York who specialises in vibrant dot paintings inspired by the colours and patterns from her travel encounters and who uses painting as a coping mechanism to relieve anxiety and battle obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The sublime experience presents Chefs Top and Michelle’s 5-course tasting menu and will highlight a different approach to the usual snacks by capturing Amy’s inspiration in the dishes.
Some highlights include Mia’s delish North Sea Crab Dish served with homemade Ajo Blanco sauce and paper-thin sliced Grapes. A superb centrepiece of Hay Aged Duck served with Red Endives, Summer Apples and Blackberries. Mia’s Cereal Bowl with Malted Milk Chocolate and Corn or classic Almond Financier with Cheesecake Cream and Rhubarb – is currently in season and it’s presented in four different ways, poached, gel, compote and rhubarb sorbet.
The lunch menu is priced at 3,250++ baht, Mia will be donating 10% of the food profits to the artist’s charity of her choice, Freedom Restoration Project, a non-profit organization that empowers women, promoting safety and a network of support. At the same time, original and exclusive paintings from the artist will be available for purchase and 10% of the revenue will be donated to the previously mentioned organization.
Diners can opt for a wine pairing experience of five glasses that have been perfectly curated to complement the dishes and grant diners a look and feel of Mia’s carefully selected wine cellar – composed of more than 115 labels of old and new age wines from all over the world.
