Sühring Bangkok Celebrate Their Two Michelin Stars by Launching A New Erlebnis “Experience” Lunch Menu.

Fresh off the stage at the Park Hyatt Bangkok where the twin chefs picked up their second Michelin star, the Sühring brothers announced last night via social media (thanks for the tag, boys), that they will begin trading for lunch on the weekends from 22 December 2018, which coincides with their new dinner Erlebnis (“experience” in German) menu launch on 21 December 2018.

This day-time dining initiative wasn’t conceived overnight. It’s something the team has been discussing since the end of 2016, as Chef Thomas Sühring explained to Bangkok Foodies. “The location is beautiful during the day as well as the night, so we are happy to finally welcome people to lunch.”

Sühring’s long serving and all-knowing manager Mathieu Campion also chimed in. “We have a lot of returning guests who would be happy to come to the restaurant, bring their family, grandparents, for a leisurely daytime experience, but the twins wanted to perfect the dinner first”.

The new Erlebnis menu will be broken down into three chapters: Bites; Mains; and Sweets. Dinner will be available in a long version (12 servings, 4,400++ same price as previous menu) and a short version (9 servings 3,600 ++) that will only be available for lunch with time slots of 12:00, 12:30 or 1:00pm. Both menus will contain brand-spanking-new Sühring dishes!

For lunch revellers, this means you may enjoy a lighter menu at a slightly lesser price in the Bangkok sunshine. The twins also informed us that the dishes will be replaced and rotated on a regular basis, adding extra spice to your gourmet lunch variety.

And what about the booze? Yes, they will serve wines by the bottle or a wine pairing (2,800 ++) of 5 glasses to go alongside the full or short Erlebnis. It’s not everyday you can splurge on a Michelin 2-star lunch, so you may as well make the most of it!
