    Freebird, a hidden garden retreat on Sukhumvit, Soi 47 is the realisation of a vision and collaboration between some of the restaurant industry’s finest names.

    Our menu is modern Australian cuisine at its best. Drawing influence from Europe, Asia and Australia, united to form an intersection of flavour and texture from around the world.

    Executive chef Top Russell’s love for food grew into passion when he joined his first kitchen career at an early age of 18. His career developed rapidly as he moved to work in multiple Michelin starred restaurants in London with highly acclaimed names such as Alexis Gautheir, Jun Tanaka and most notably the legendary french chef Peirre Gagnaire. The freedom of using modern western techniques coupled with Asian flavours is still relatively new and unexplored in the Bangkok dining scene. Freebird is a true canvas for chef Top Russell and his team to explore the many depths of these techniques. The food is centred around imported Australian produce paired with locally grown produce in Thailand and aims to be approachable yet sophisticated in a causal dining environment.
